Gardens by Design

You know how it is, you have a neglected site. In your own mind you know what you want people to ‘experience’ or ‘feel’ when they visit the site but you’re just not sure how to achieve it. This is where a good designer steps in, defines a brief, creates a concept and builds your dream.
So what are we talking about? Designing a web site or designing a garden? Both actually.

Garden designer Alison Mason is well used to helping her clients create their dream gardens but when it came to creating her web site she decided it was her turn to need help. That’s when she approached Decoder to design and build her own dream site. And just as creating a garden brings together many skills so too does creating a good web site. And a good web site is one that works on all levels; ease of use, lovely to look at, simple to maintain and reflects the personality of the client. Yes, just like a garden!
We suggested to Alison she not only showcase published articles but also to expand on her own gardening experiences in a Notebook section and this has proved one of the most popular areas of her site.

All in all the new site has been deemed a success with great feedback, good traffic and new inquiries.
Bouquets all round for everyone!
